Important results from the project

Many companies and organizations rely on cyber security solutions provided by their IT providers. The Lathunden objective is to help actors get an overview of their situation and their needs through a number of steps. This is done by the use of a document that guides the analysis of their cyber security in six steps. In collaboration with AP&T, testbeds in Olofström and Piteå Sicomp, Safetest has contributed to raising risk awareness when sharing data remotely. In collaboration with Prindit, Safetest has explored perspectives on explainable AI and communication of new AI solutions.

Expected long term effects

Through the analysis of four use-cases, SafeTest has created a guide where key issues for remote sharing have been included. The Lathund will be available via the project´s website and through further development in ongoing project and cyber security initiatives. The application of Explainable AI to hard data has created important insights into how explainability can be adapted for the customer. The project has concluded that the existing state-of-the-art within Explainable AI is too technical and requires further adaptation for the end user with a cross-disciplinary approach.

Approach and implementation

The project has been run via 5 work packages: project coordination, needs assessment, prototype development, easy-guide and technology dissemination. Via meetings every two weeks, the project manager and steering group have reviewed the project´s activities and schedule together. The arrangement has worked well and the project has progressed at a good pace. During the latter part of the project, a more intensive phase has taken place where update and discussion meetings have been booked more often to follow up on deliverables within the project.
