Purpose and goal
The project rests on the premise that surface properties are vital for both function and user experience, while circular flows increase variability in materials and manufacturing outcomes, complicating robust specifications. It aims to improve the specification and assessment of surface quality to enhance communication and efficiency and enable greater use of recycled materials, laying the foundation for long-term collaboration.
Expected effects and result
The project is expected to deliver: (1) enhanced competence among participating staff; (2) a report presenting mapping results; and (3) a report outlining a joint strategy for future collaboration. Long-term effects include clearer requirements and more efficient communication, supporting increased use of recycled materials and improved management of material variability.
Planned approach and implementation
The current state will be mapped and described, with a focus on potential improvements to enable reduced resource use and increased resilience. A strategy for long-term collaboration in this area will be developed.
