Important results from the project

Yes. The results are: • A resource bank on Malmö University´s internal communication system. Here, all administrative and collegial resources within the institution are gathered regarding responsible internationalisation. • A reflection guide, which helps the individual employee to identify and respond to different perspectives and goal conflicts. • Increased knowledge and awareness of responsible internationalisation and readiness to act when necessary

Expected long term effects

Increased awareness within the institution of various aspects of responsible internationalisation. This includes the implementation of partially new routines and working methods that strengthen the quality of the support provided.

Approach and implementation

We conducted twelve (12) interviews with researchers and teachers at Malmö University. The selection of researchers included individuals with experience in internationalization and representation across faculties and scientific fields. The work also involved a certain degree of environmental scanning, where we collected articles and reports that highlight the theme of responsible internationalization in various ways. The material resulted in a draft for a web based course.
