Purpose and goal

The purpose of this planning project is to develop and submit a competitive, high-quality Horizon Europe proposal for the innovation project ReGRAFLUX. The goal is to secure funding to develop and validate recycled-graphite-based composite flow plates for redox flow batteries and industrial heat exchangers, thereby strengthening Europe’s circular and high-value use of critical and strategic raw materials.

Expected effects and result

The main result will be a complete and submitted Horizon Europe proposal for ReGRAFLUX. The desired effect is a positive funding decision enabling project launch and further development of recycled-graphite-based composite flow plates. A key secondary result is a strengthened European consortium with clear roles, a shared strategy and readiness for implementation.

Planned approach and implementation

The approach is to coordinate a strong European consortium and progressively develop ReGRAFLUX into a competitive Horizon Europe proposal. The implementation will focus on collaborative drafting of the proposal’s main sections (Excellence, Impact, Implementation), including technology, demonstrators, budget, work plan and exploitation. The project will coordinate partner contributions and ensure timely submission in line with all EU requirements.
