Project Living Labs Smart Societies

Purpose and goal

The aim is to establish an Living Lab as a research institute and testbed for twin transition and the smart communities of the future. The project picks up where the previous IoT Sverige-insatser left off by creating a legal and physical structure that manages, packages and scales results, lessons and methods in the long term. The project develops a national blueprint for IoT testbeds that scale via villages and neighborhoods, driving interoperability and green transition.

Expected effects and result

The project´s results are the establishment of an Living Lab, with validation of legal form, physical meeting space, testbed model and app for citizen dialogue. The effect is a clear innovation and development arena between public actors, academia, industry actors and companies.
