Important results from the project
A pressure sensor that measures pressure has been developed, it met the project´s technical requirements. The sensor is able to measure pressure within the set intervals. Unfortunately, it has been more difficult to get a signal out during operations, but a planned solution will be tried outside the project´s framework.
Expected long term effects
A sensor that met Hitachi´s technical requirements has been developed. The sensor has been manufactured using printed electronics. Upcoming project will work to obtain sensor signals during operation.
Approach and implementation
Hitachi Energy developed technical requirements that included measurement range and operating environment such as temperature and compatibility. Hitachi Energy tested materials in simulated operating environments to check that no contaminations could occur. RISE tested developed sensors to check that the sensor met the technical eligibility requirements for measurement. The project has been successful in developing a new sensor that meets all eligibility requirements.
