Important results from the project

The purpose of the feasibility study was to evaluate and analyze the potential for a future establishment of a collaboration between an Israeli innovation hub and MobilityXlab. The aim was to be able to evaluate the partner, but also to develop a working model for how talent attraction should be done in practice. By having in the feasibility study the opportunity to test the cooperation actor in a sharp situation and scout for a specific application round, MobilityXlab has been able to measure the outcome of the efforts.

Expected long term effects

The scouting led to 7 Israeli startups applying to MobilityXlab Batch 11. Four Israeli startups were invited to the pitch week at the beginning of May. One of these startup companies has been accepted into the program that starts in August 2023. These are high numbers and show a good results from the project. of further contacts to potential collaborations.

Approach and implementation

The project started with a feasibility study in three parts; contact with the Israeli ecosystem, scouting of startups and a delegation trip to expand the network. It was noted that we had a lot of interest from Israeli startup companies to apply to MobilityXlab. In connection with the planning of the delegation trip, MobilityXlab had the opportunity to participate in the planning of an event at Sveriges Ambassadör to Israel. This arrangement was an addition to the project which produced many positive effects, such as new and improved contacts.
