Purpose and goal
The project aims to conduct a marketing due diligence for MEV-Cam – an AI-powered decision support system enhancing visibility in smoke, darkness, and complex environments. The goal is to validate market needs, willingness to pay, and procurement logic, and to map key actors and partnerships. The work will establish a foundation for scalable market entry, reduce commercialization risks, and enable broader use within emergency response, defense, and crisis preparedness.
Expected effects and result
The project will deliver a validated launch strategy and structured commercialization plan for MEV-Cam, based on insights into market demand, willingness to pay, and procurement patterns. The results will strengthen the business case for investors and pilot partners, and enhance strategic clarity for the next development phase. Effects include increased precision in business decisions, reduced market uncertainty, and a faster path from innovation to impact.
Planned approach and implementation
The project is implemented in six work packages that together constitute a structured marketing due diligence. The work includes target group analysis, willingness to pay studies, procurement and partner mapping, competitive analysis and development of launch and business model strategy. The results are compiled in a final report that forms the basis for the next development phase – piloting and international market introduction.
