Reference number
Coordinator RISE Research Institutes of Sweden AB - RISE
Funding from Vinnova SEK 138 944
Project duration June 2026 - September 2026
Status Ongoing
Call Planning grant for international proposal 2026

Purpose and goal

The aim of the planning project is to coordinate and strengthen Swedish participation in the international consortium to develop a complete proposal to European Partnership on Metrology. This proposal aims to establish metrologically substantiated methods and data for electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) in low-voltage direct current (LVDC) systems. The goal of the planning project is to contribute to the development and completion of a competitive proposal on EMC in direct current systems

Expected effects and result

The project is expected to contribute to delivering a competitive proposal that addresses the EPM call´s requirements. This is done through: a submitted international research application to EPM, a defined consortium structure with roles and responsibilities, clearly defined objective, work plan and budget, a clear connection between research, metrology and European and international standardization, and a basis that strengthens Sweden´s long-term participation in European metrology research.

Planned approach and implementation

The work is carried out with the following planned activities: Participation in international consortium and meetings Clarification of research questions, objective and sub-goals in the main project Development of project structure, work packages and timetable Analysis of requirements and evaluation criteria in EPM call Anchoring against international and European standardization needs Performance of impact, risk and benefit analysis Performance and quality assurance of complete EPM proposal
