Purpose and goal
Medtech4Health is a strategic innovation program that brings together healthcare, academia and industry to strengthen Swedish medical technology. I Etapp 4 (2025–2028) focuses on implementation, internationalization and value maximization of the program´s results. Through collaboration, advocacy and knowledge dissemination, more innovations will be utilized, SMEs will grow and long-term structures will be secured after the program ends.
Expected effects and result
Expected results are completed calls for proposals, strengthened project portfolio, deepened collaborations and packaged results for dissemination. The effects will be increased implementation of medical technology in healthcare, strengthened competitiveness for SMEs, improved skills supply and a long-term structure for collaboration that strengthens Sweden´s role as a leading innovation nation in life science.
Planned approach and implementation
The programme will be implemented in 2025–2028 through calls for proposals, project support, strategic discussions and international efforts. The focus is on value optimization of the project portfolio, consolidation and packaging of results and strengthened communication and impact. The activities are led by the programme office in close collaboration with the board of directors, partners, designated nodes, collaborating actors and the advisory board to ensure long-term impact and utilization.
