Important results from the project
** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** The purpose of the assignment was to provide the Exploateringskontoret with a basis to be able to set more far-reaching eligibility requirements for the use of emission-free work machines and vehicles when procuring future contracts. Performed market analysis is a good basis for designing eligibility requirements as it describes the possibilities of contractors and manufacturers to offer emission-free work machines and vehicles.
Expected long term effects
Emission-free work machines are becoming increasingly common on the market and are expected to become even more common in the future. There is also an option to convert existing machines to electric operation. By setting clear objective with gradually increasing shares of emission-free work machines in the contracts, there are good conditions for market actors to invest in emission-free work machines and for the necessary infrastructure to be established. They assess that a reasonable objective could be 50% emission-free contracts in 2025 and 100% emission-free contracts in 2030.
Approach and implementation

The information on emission-free work machines and vehicles that are currently used in Swedish workplaces and are available from suppliers was compiled. In addition to access to vehicles and work machines, it was discussed how procurement should be carried out to ensure that emission-free alternatives are offered in contracts
