Important results from the project

The project´s aim is to build a SaaS offer of Syndata´s platform for generating synthetic data. The goal is to simplify and standardize the tool through this project in terms of functionality, onboarding, error reporting and to enable the Syndata Engine to be offered as a SaaS solution and reach a much larger group of customers. The project has achieved its aim to the extent that we launches the SaaS solution and can invite users. The work is now continuing to work with users to improve the service´s functionality and accessibility.

Expected long term effects

The goal is to have a platform with basic functions (technical, business and legal) and system stability to be able to create synthetic datasets through a SaaS interface. The desired effect of this is that the company can make synthetic data generation available to new customers/user groups, that the service becomes easier to use and that fewer resources are required to customize the service for each individual user case. Because the launch happens now, it is presently too early to determine the actual business results of the launch.

Approach and implementation

The project is mainly an IT project, with elements of legal and business model components. The IT work mainly includes architecture, user case design, infrastructure design, system design, testing, documentation and integration with support systems. Due to staff turnover, the launch was postponed by 3 months.
