Important results from the project

We have increased the equality for students by connecting qualified teachers and schools. Our range of completed distance courses gives schools the opportunity to register individual students and is in line with the National Agency for Education´s guidelines for distance learning. Reachrs mediates certified teachers through a web-based profile page where the teacher states his / her qualifications and credentials. About 20% of Reachr´s 250 teachers have implemented our quality tool Skill Radar.

Expected long term effects

The outcome of the project is good. Teachers set up courses they are interested in teaching remotely. School leaders can then choose courses based on a combined range of different teachers. To validate, verify and develop the business model, we conducted surveys, webinars and dialogues with principals and principals. The business model is based on a sharing economy where all stakeholders have clear incentives for increased productivity. Principals and teachers are positive about our service.

Approach and implementation

The school principals are positive about Reachr´s position, while headmasters are more cautious. The principals´ competence requirements are met when our distance teachers register their identification and also make our quality instrument for distance learning. In addition, teachers set up courses they are interested in teaching by distance learning and school leaders can then choose courses based on a comprehensive range.
