Important results from the project

The INDENZ project mapped needs, business models, and technical solutions for electrifying industrial sites. Collaboration between OEMs, customers, and energy partners created a shared foundation for scalable and sustainable solutions. The project laid the groundwork for pilot projects and scaling in the next phase.

Expected long term effects

The project is expected to accelerate industrial electrification and reduce CO₂ emissions, while enabling new business models and skills. Through systemic solutions and collaboration, Swedish companies will be better positioned to scale innovations globally and strengthen their competitiveness.

Approach and implementation

The project was implemented in four work packages: needs analysis, pilot case definition, scaling preconditions, and project management. Workshops and interviews with both existing and new partners enabled the project to evolve as planned. The timeline was followed without major deviations, and collaboration worked well. The consortium expanded during the project, strengthening expertise and relevance.

The project description has been provided by the project members themselves and the text has not been looked at by our editors.
