Important results from the project
GREEN14´s CEO participated in the European Commission´s official delegation to Australia as the only Swedish representative in the field of critical raw materials processing. The project resulted in valuable contacts with Australian mining companies, EU decision-makers and site visits to tungsten and mineral facilities. Dialogues with several Australian actors continue after returning home, with potential for future collaborations in critical minerals supply chains.
Expected long term effects
The project is expected to strengthen GREEN14´s position as a European player in critical raw materials and contribute to the EU´s supply chain resilience. The established networks with DG GROW and Australian partners create a basis for future business opportunities and funding. In the long term, the project contributes to Western independence in strategic materials.
Approach and implementation
The project was implemented through participation in the European Commission delegation to Australia in the autumn. Activities included official meetings, site visits to the Mt Carbine tungsten deposit and Currumbin Minerals, and participation in the IMARC conference. The arrangement was well organized by the European Commission and followed the planned timeframe. Follow-up dialogues have continued after returning home.
