Important results from the project

The project has been successfully implemented with the aim of developing a laser-based measuring instrument for leak testing and quality control of glass containers in the pharmaceutical industry. During the project, such a system has been developed that meets the market requirements received from companies in the industry. The project has generated a completely unique innovation on the market that has a plug-and-play solution, it is easy to install, has a minimal footprint on the production line, and has an intelligent measurement algorithm.

Expected long term effects

The outcome of the project is that Gasporox has broadened its offer to the pharmaceutical market. The product is unique and can be sold directly to pharmaceutical manufacturers, production lines or machine manufacturers via our sales team and resellers. The product´s plug-and-play solution offers shorter integration time and remote installation, which means that the technology can reach the market faster. Instrument offers 100% quality control with high precision and accuracy, which means that packaged medicines reach the customer with maintained quality, safety and guarantee.

Approach and implementation

The project´s planning involved defined work packages to ensure the implementation of both the technical and market development of the technology. The focus has been on fulfilling requirements from pilot customers and partners through a continuous dialogue with them. Risks were minimized early, by verifying the prototype´s performance and software through customer and in-house tests. The project has involved a lot of internal development of hardware and software and it has generated increased knowledge in the company and insights into the potential of the technology.
