Important results from the project

Finc´s aim is to create digital tools that lower the thresholds for Corporate Finance. The project´s objective has been to develop digital products that standardize corporate valuations and financial planning for both mature companies and startups. The company is driven by PhDs in business administration who will next refine the products through machine learning. The goal of the project is highly fulfilled and has contributed to further raising the ambitions of the company.

Expected long term effects

Finc´s project aimed more specifically to make sure that: 1) Employees can be made aware of how their everyday work is related to the company´s financial results. 2) Business incubators can use our products to help entrepreneurs in a cost-effective way to create greater value to their incubator companies. 3) The society as a whole can benefit from companies in the private sector being valued to a greater extent according to meritocratic principles. We know that the financial sector is one of the most skewed sectors there are in terms of gender equality.

Approach and implementation

The project has resulted in Finc being able to develop salable products that simplify the work of entrepreneurs and other stakeholders in valuing companies and create an valuation-optimal financial strategy. During 2021, work has been highly focused on internal product development, albeit in close collaboration with end customers and a corporate incubator. Finc has declined offers of private external funding to further strengthen its position ahead of such negotiations.
