Purpose and goal
Assess the technical performance and manufacturability of hybrid HERD IR filters in collaboration with the National University of Singapore; deliver prototypes and a decision-making basis for further development and industrialization.
Expected effects and result
Validated prototypes with documented cryogenic performance, requirements and material specifications, and a test and validation report from Singapore to serve as the decision basis for continued development and commercialization.
Planned approach and implementation
Phased approach: requirements and material analysis, prototype design and manufacture of multiple variants, cryogenic testing and system validation with NUS, plus ongoing project management and documentation.
