Important results from the project
The project assessed the technical performance and manufacturability of hybrid HERD IR filters in collaboration with the National University of Singapore. Prototypes were produced and delivered for independent cryogenic validation.
Expected long term effects
The results strengthen Sweden Quantum´s ability to industrialize the HERD filter series and provide a basis for continued product development and commercialization.
Approach and implementation
The project was carried out in phases: requirements and material analysis, prototype manufacture, and validation with NUS. Collaboration began after the New Year and worked well.
