Important results from the project

The purpose of the project was to build Kenify(previously Enhanden) from an MVP to a complete version. During the project the technical systems were developed including content extraction, backend services, cloud infrastructure and front-end(user interface) with all the intended initial features. There are developments ongoing to improve the user on-boarding process and experience. By validating with different user groups(within a limited size) we have identified our potential segment of market/users that will have high value of our product initially.

Expected long term effects

1. We have built the complete platform and open for the initial early adopters/users. 2. We have integrated around 250000 web-sources and growing every day. 3. We have grown from a team of 2 to 4 people with needed skills for the near future. 4. We have reached to an initial user base of around 50 users by the end of July 2020, which was low due to delays in initial user acquisition because of situation from COVID-19. 5. Performed validation on short-long term value creation for the users and derived a strategy on the direction of product and business for the future.

Approach and implementation

1. We have expanded and diversified the web-sources that we integrated in our platform covering various fields and topics. 2. Built the systems that can extract topics and keywords from content and developed intelligence over them to provide personalisation to users. 3. Built the complete infrastructure for the platform to go live and serve real users. 4. Built the web interface and browser extension. 5. Performed validations on weekly/monthly active usage and identified the key barriers.
