Important results from the project
The project´s objective was met by successfully completing a thesis and developing and evaluating a method for dynamic edge-based handling of safety-critical data. The results contribute new knowledge about distributed edge computing for future connected and automated vehicles.
Expected long term effects
The project is expected to contribute to the continued development of distributed edge computing for safety-critical functions in connected and automated vehicles. The results can form the basis for continued research and future solutions in 6G-based transportation systems.
Approach and implementation
The project was carried out as a degree project at Chalmers University of Technology in collaboration with AstaZero AB. The work included design, implementation and evaluation of a method for dynamic edge-based management of security-critical data. The project was carried out according to plan and the schedule could be followed. The collaboration worked well and the project´s planned activities could be implemented.
