Important results from the project

** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** The purpose of the project was to further develop Clicko´s concept, with magnetic wooden parts for letter construction, to suit all types of preschools, schools and children. The goal was to develop a tutorial so that children, regardless of circumstances, could take part in the material and develop their ability for letters and reading.

Expected long term effects

** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** To achieve our objective, we have developed a guide that provides tips and suggestions for games and exercises where the purpose is to promote curiosity and interest in letters. All exercises have been tested on people with different conditions and in different contexts to get a broad base. The guide has also been translated into several languages so that children in more parts of the world can access the material.

Approach and implementation

** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** The basis for the supervision comes from collaborations and tests performed together with special educators, preschool teachers and children, adults and young people at different types of schools and preschools. The tests resulted in us changing some exercises and removing others completely. This step was more time consuming than we thought, which affected the delivery date. Finally, we have worked with layout and translation to be able to meet our users´ different languages.

The project description has been provided by the project members themselves and the text has not been looked at by our editors.
