Important results from the project

** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** The purpose of the project has been to find keys and create a blueprint to make it easier for different types of actors to start their own local, circular urban gardens outdoors. The goal is to make our cities greener, more human-friendly, spread knowledge about food and contribute with both ecosystem services and increase biodiversity. The watchword for the group during the project has been: respect for food, people, the planet and future generations.

Expected long term effects

** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** We hope and expect that more actors in Sweden, who want to start urban gardens, will want to adopt the circular concept and work with recycling and waste in close cooperation with the local business community and at the same time grow non-toxic and be inclusive and accessible to the public in different ways.

Approach and implementation

** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** The plan has been to grow vegetables, spices, flowers and keep both bees and chickens, test business models, test processes and find important keys to succeed in urban farming, with aim of being able to give others important information. This is partly to be able to start, but also to run a circular urban cultivation successfully in the long term.
