Purpose and goal

The purpose of the project has been to create a free chemical register that helps companies understand what chemical products they have, how they should be used and which ones need replacing. The aim has been to create a demo version of the chemical register and evaluate it with a number of stakeholders. The project has been very successful as we have been able to show that it is possible to create a cost-effective chemical register that can have great impact thanks to being free and using new distribution channels.

Expected results and effects

The project´s result is a free chemical register that enables mainly small business owners to get started with an active chemical work. The result of the project has so far been above expectations. We have created several collaborations with a number of important stakeholders in the market and the response from the end users has been above expectations. The project has also resulted in several related business opportunities where the chemical register can be used for simplifying existing work tasks at the users.

Planned approach and implementation

The project was divided into 4 different activity packages. "Automate System Processes", "Demo Installations", "External Information" and "Internationalization". The activity packages contain both development and marketing work. The work has been carried out well and the working group has been able to work relatively undisturbed with the project.
