Purpose and goal

The objective of this preparation project is to consolidate the project ideas into detailed work plan, recruit partners who possess complementary expertise and resources, and establish steering plan for a winning project application towards the call HORIZON JU CBE 2026 IA 05 Films and coatings for circular packaging.

Expected effects and result

The primary result of the preparation project is a competitive proposal (Part B), which aligns with the call and addresses all aspects that contribute to the major criteria – Excellence, Impact, and Implementation. This will be achieved by consolidating the innovative ideas and approaches that go beyond the state of the art into a detailed work plan and assembling a strong project consortium with complementary skills and expertise.

Planned approach and implementation

The project consists of three work packages (WPs). WP1 focuses on defining the project scope with consolidated ideas and innovative approaches that go beyond the current state of the art. WP2 focus on building a strong consortium by bringing together the right mix of expertise and complementary resources. WP3 focus on preparing the project proposal that outlines detailed project plans to ensure the successful execution of the project.
