Important results from the project

Yes, the project fulfilled the goals of strengthening Bergslagen´s role in the national innovation system and developing collaboration between academia and industry, especially in digitalisation, sustainability and AI in the mining sector. The project has also led to increased international visibility, new networks and forms of collaboration, and strengthened interest in mining innovation in the region.

The project has been implemented with events, networking and strategic collaborations. Special emphasis has been placed on creating long-term structures for collaboration. The project activities have been carried out in close dialogue with national and international actors to ensure the relevance and continued development of Bergslagen as a mining and innovation region. The collaboration with all actors worked, especially crucial to the success -was the active and committed steering group.
