Important results from the project

The main goal for Accelerate Startup Partnership is to establish and implement an efficient model for identifying, creating and coordinating partnerships between small and medium-sized companies and vehicle manufacturers in Sweden in the areas of automation, connection and electromobility that include technology, services and solutions.

Expected long term effects

Accelerate Startup Partnership started in December 2020 and during its first year, the project has been in a start-up phase where processes for collaboration and knowledge sharing between industry partners, ecosystem partners and the research part of the project have been created and established. Processes linked to scouting and matchmaking have also been started, and industry partners have worked internally to develop complementary, more simplified processes with the aim of enabling collaboration with small and medium-sized companies in an easier and faster way.

Approach and implementation

It is industrial partners who formulate a need or theme for innovation where partnership is needed. With the support of ecosystem partner, the most suitable small and medium-sized companies for this partnership are then identified. The next step is to initiate a collaborative project in the form of a concept test (Proof of Concept), between the industry partner and the smaller company.
