You can now register activities for Innovation Week 2026

Innovation Week is a national arena where everyone who contributes to the public sector meeting the challenges of the future has the opportunity to share experiences, showcase solutions and share inspiration from all over the country. Municipalities, regions, authorities, civil society, universities, companies and other organisations are welcome to contribute to the program. The organizers are responsible for the content and implementation of their activities.

The activities take place both digitally and at various locations around Sweden. Some activities require registration and others are open to everyone. It could be, for example, a Teams meeting, a seminar, a podcast, a workshop or a physical event. Maybe you are already planning a seminar or activity during the autumn? Then you can move it to Innovation Week and at the same time become part of the national program.

It is free to register activities and all events are collected in a common programme at innovationsveckan.nu. The program is published in early September and activities can be registered until October 3.

About Innovation Week

Innovation Week is a joint effort to highlight and spread innovation in the public sector. In 2025, around 60 activities were carried out around the country, arranged by municipalities, regions and government agencies, among others.

Bakom Innovationsveckan stands for Sveriges Kommuner and Regions (SKR), Vinnova and the Swedish Public Procurement Agency. Together we create a meeting place for actors who want to contribute to the public sector of the future.
