The design studio Orvet Stockholm, in collaboration with Boris Design Studio/Manyone, Jan Rydén Bonmot and the City of Stockholm, invites you to a harvest festival from the future this autumn, more precisely 2052. The project is part of Vinnova's call for proposals Future prototypes.

The place is Norra Djurgårdsstaden, temporarily renamed Norra Matgårdsstaden.

- Here we invite experts, residents, producers and distributors to talks and debates. With an exploratory and questioning approach, we challenge many of the things that today hold back innovation and development in food production, says one of the initiators, design strategist Jaan Orvet.

It all culminates in an urban harvest festival, free and open to the public. The place is marked with a pavilion that is intended to be able to live on in other places in Stockholm during 2022 and 2023.

During May and June, the project has both invited to a retrospective picnic in 1992, and aimed forward with experts in, among other things, cultivation, urban planning, distribution, architecture.

The dialogue is based on a number of provocations that challenge established performances and show a possible path. Without reservation, but rooted in today's reality.

- To lift us all out of everyday life, and not only think 2052 but also live, work and work as if we were already 30 years in the future, requires both new tools and a wide-open mindset. And of course perseverance, you can not dip in and out of this. We have moved into 2052, states Anna Karlsson from Boris Design Studio/Manyone.
