Northern Prospects - Enhancing civil security with AI

Organised by: SWERI (Vinnova och Vetenskapsrådet), tillsammans med Network of Nordic and Baltic R&I liaison offices in Brussels
Permanent Representation of Estonia to the EU, Rue Guimard 11/13, Bryssel Tue 14 Oct 2025 at 11:00-19:00

As the world faces new security challenges and a new geopolitical landscape, research and innovation are more important than ever. Using artificial intelligence (AI) is changing the rules of the game in civil preparedness and crisis management. AI makes it possible to anticipate, prevent and manage crises in new ways, for example through advanced threat detection, risk analysis, early warning systems and real-time coordination.
