Important results from the project

The project aimed to explore the possibility of implementing NSS Waters water purification technology together with an Israeli party, which currently supplies solutions to the semiconductor industry. The goal was to conduct a feasibility study to identify how the technology can reduce water consumption and improve sustainability within the industry, especially in water-stressed regions such as Israel.

Expected long term effects

the project has laid a strong foundation for future development. It strengthens NSS Waters´s position as a provider of sustainable solutions and creates opportunities for growth, commercialization and further research. The results also contribute to a greener semiconductor industry, with positive impacts for the environment. In summary, despite the challenges, the project provided important insights, strengthened strategic partnerships and created the conditions for long-term success.

Approach and implementation

The project was implemented as a feasibility study with a focus on investigating collaboration with the Israeli partner in water treatment for the semiconductor industry. The approach included planning, data collection and final reporting. External factors, such as the sensitive situation in Israel, made site visits and certain activities difficult, but collaboration took place digitally and worked well. Despite the challenges, important insights were gained.
