Important results from the project

The project´s objective was to strengthen the consortium and develop a competitive proposal for EIC Pathfinder 2026. The objectives were met by expanding the consortium with two new partners and submitting a complete proposal as planned. The project also contributed to a further developed project idea, new project ideas for future initiatives, as well as strengthened international collaboration and improved conditions for future international funding.

Expected long term effects

The project has strengthened the conditions for future international research and innovation projects through an expanded consortium, new project ideas and a stronger international positioning. The experience from the project will contribute to future EU applications and to continued collaboration between academia and industry in advanced photonics and laser technology.

Approach and implementation

The project was implemented according to plan. The work focused on developing the project idea, strengthening the consortium, analyzing previous evaluation results and developing a new proposal for EIC Pathfinder 2026. Two new partners were attached to the project, and external expertise was used to provide feedback on the proposal. The work was more extensive than expected, but the collaboration went well and resulted in a complete proposal submitted according to plan.
