The results from the project will be continuously used as an information tool on modern mining, as a learning element in university education. Expected effects are to get a good distribution to both the general public, mining industry and university students of how a modern mine works. The workshops organized within the project with Swedish Science Centers will lead to a continued dissemination of information in new constellations with the long-term goal of attracting new groups to work in this industry.
Approach and implementation
The project layout with work packages has suited the objectives of the project well. The activities in the project have supported to achieve the project targets. Information and dissemination activities within the project have to some extent been inhibited and adapted due to the prevailing pandemic and social distancing.
