Important results from the project
The project´s aim was to verify the Nano Control technology in the construction industry / floor grinding in an authentic environment. Through repeated tests of our separator in HTC´s plant in Söderköping we have shown that the technology works as expected.
Expected long term effects
In this project, we have shown that the technology works in a real industrial environment and we have had the expected results (99.8% separation efficiency without filter) now leading to discussions with HTC to license the patent in the area of floor grinding (industrial vacuum cleaner). The result has also given us the ability to contact other players in the construction industry and thereby showcase our technology with the help of the prototype that has been built during the project.
Approach and implementation
We have together with HTC for the period June 2015-July 2016 evaluated the technique by testing different prototypes with different amounts of air linked to their floor grinding machines. Production of drawings and prototypes have been made by Nano Control in our facilities. After various tests, we have optimized the prototype for better performance under various conditions (flow rate, pressure drop, dust concentration, etc.)
