Important results from the project
The purpose of the project was to develop a digital solution for interactive workshops within arts and crafts. The goal was to develop a product as a complement to our existing offering and at the same time reduce the risks and increase the scalability of the company. We wanted to expand the target group; type of participant and geographical domicile, and enable more experts to use the platform. We have launched and further developed live sessions - digital interactive workshops, which both reduce the risks and increase the potential and scalability of the company.
Expected long term effects
The goal was to launch a product that made it possible for users to hold and participate in digital workshops. The expectation was that the product would be easy to use and create high satisfaction. We also hoped that it would lower the general risk level and increase the scalability. The launch and further development was successful and we have managed to create a digital product that is useful for our users, both experts, and participants. Furthermore, the company has possibilities of reaching a wider audience and thus increased the scalability and reduced the risks.
Approach and implementation
We have continuously interacted with and based our decisions on the users´ needs. Both trend analysis, survey data, own interview data, and user tests have been the foundation for our development. We are also continuously measuring user satisfaction and are also specifically measuring it for this product. During the project, a UX intern has joined the team which was important to be able to further develop the product. In addition to UX competence, we also would have benefited from a larger development team to more quickly be able to launch and further develop the product.
