Expected effects and result
- An improved relationship and trust between City of Uppsala and the local business community. - An increased sensitivity and better understanding of what it is like to be an entrepreneur among employees at City of Uppsala. - Facilitate the continued ability to conduct profitable activities during large urban transformation projects. - Result in a model for reflection and organizational learning that can be adapted to more projects and strengthen internal coordination in the municipal organization.
Planned approach and implementation
Uppsalas project group is geographically divided and is responsible for dialogue with businesses. Through outreach contacts, needs and ideas are captured and documented in a shareable map system. The project group is responsible for managing needs and providing feedback. Overall and area-specific needs are analyzed for future prioritization in urban development. SLU is leading the work with a model, based on workshops, to promote learning and be able to apply the experiences in future project.
