Purpose and goal
The project aims to identify and bridge competence gaps across the construction value chain to enable the scaling and widespread adoption of circular technical building equipment solutions, focusing especially on HVAC machines. By engaging manufacturers, installers, academia and other stakeholders we will develop and test practical learning materials that accelerate the transition to circularity and net zero emissions in HVAC equipment.
Expected effects and result
Identifying skill gaps and developing targeted training and work-integrated learning models for higher education and the skilled workforce. Creating knowledge-sharing structures and collaborative networks to ensure practical adoption of reuse, refurbishment, and remanufacturing methods.
Planned approach and implementation
WP1: Map competence gaps via insights from Nordic Circularity Piloting Program, literature review, and stakeholder interviews to prioritize training needs. WP2: Co-develop relevant educational content and digital tools for higher education and professionals. WP3: Pilot materials with students, professionals, and technicians; collect feedback for refinement. WP4: Evaluate, disseminate via MOOCs and networks, and integrate into existing courses for broad adoption.
