Purpose and goal

UBI is a Life Science incubator that, by offering business development support and infrastructure, will deliver incubation of European top class to excellent ideas and companies that meet the market needs and UN Agenda 2030. We are constantly developing our processes through national collaborations (SISP, ALIS, Vinnova) and close contact with the market through interaction with industry, investors, end users and authorities, which thereby strengthens the companies´ innovation and attractiveness.

Expected effects and result

With a top-class European incubation, this project will help companies to carry out better verification work, which means reduced risks and increased values for the companies. The companies can thus attract the capital needed to lay the foundation for a growing company that meets the global sustainability goals. This will increase the number of companies formed and the number of employees in Sweden. It will also benefit society at large as important innovations will benefit citizens.

Planned approach and implementation

Through our developed business development process, we will continue to support idea carriers to transform knowledge into business potential, increase their innovative power and build attractive companies. We will also develop networks and arenas within and between academia, industry and healthcare to attract talent, skills and the establishment of new companies in the region. Sustainable development and transformation are done in close collaboration with the companies to meet the set goals.
