Important results from the project

The project achieved its goals. At the Genom Nordic Health Summit 2026 in Tokyo and Seoul, Atrogi held meetings with Asian venture capital firms and potential pharmaceutical partners, leading to concrete funding and partnership discussions. We have initiated a research collaboration with a South Korean biotech company, with the intention of jointly applying for Eureka Biotech Call 2026. The trip has also led us to prioritize an Asia-inclusive clinical development strategy for ATR-258.

Expected long term effects

The research collaboration with a South Korean biotech company and the planned joint proposal to Eureka Biotech Call in 2026 may accelerate the identification of novel biomarkers for sarcopenia. The investor relations are expected to contribute to future funding rounds and diversify Atrogi´s investor base. The decision to prioritize an Asia-inclusive development path positions Atrogi for fast-growing markets with aging populations, which is expected to shorten the time to market for ATR-258.

Approach and implementation

Two representatives participated in Nordic Health Summit 2026 in Tokyo and Seoul, with pre-planned meetings with investors and pharmaceutical companies. The activities were well chosen — the partner sessions enabled focused conversations. An unexpected positive development was that we initiated discussions with a South Korean biotechnology company about research collaboration in sarcopenia, with the intention of jointly applying for Eureka Biotech Call 2026.
