Purpose and goal

Strengthen Sweden’s semiconductor position through KSP dialogues, study visits, and collaboration with South Korea within WBG, innovation, and Chips JU.

Expected effects and result

Deepen policy and ecosystem understanding and strengthen semiconductor cooperation with South Korea.

Planned approach and implementation

Policy dialogues and study visits deepen understanding of semiconductor policy and ecosystem development, especially power semiconductors and WBG. The delegation gathers insights to support expanded research and innovation collaboration with South Korea, both bilaterally and within the EU’s Chips JU. Activities include meetings with companies, authorities and research institutes, and presenting Swedish strengths to strengthen Sweden’s position and enable new collaborations.
