Important results from the project
The project partially achieved its objectives. While concrete business contacts for building an "Simulation-AI alliance" have yet to materialize, several important discussions were initiated. These included exploring digital twins for non-manufacturing applications, EuroStar funding opportunities, and collaboration connecting our simulation platform to MES systems.
Expected long term effects
The new academic connections, which provided valuable insights into graph databases, hybrid AI-Human solutions, and quantum computing, will strengthen Evoma´s long-term R&D efforts, and we will maintain and expand these contacts. Building on the valuable experience gained at SWII, we will continue to explore other relevant German-speaking business and research contacts in the long term.
Approach and implementation
The project was carried out through Evoma´s representative, Professor Amos Ng, who attended the one-day SWII conference. He successfully delivered a 3-minute pitch, which attracted the attention of several attendees and led to a total of nine formal and informal one-on-one meetings with potential partner companies, academic representatives, and venture capitalists.
