Important results from the project

The project partially met the goals by creating new contacts and starting discussions about strategic collaborations. No concrete agreements have yet been concluded, but we have taken important steps towards finding partners in industry and academia, small and medium-sized companies in need of our services, as well as financing opportunities. The project also contributed to a strengthened network via RISE and Business Sweden, which can be decisive for future success.

Expected long term effects

The project is expected to result in possible long-term collaborations with Brazilian companies and universities, or establishment in an Life Science-hub in Brazil with potential funding via Venture Capital. These effects can strengthen our global presence and promote innovation and business development. The networks and insights generated by the project are key resources for continued international expansion.

Approach and implementation

Day 1: A full day with Business Sweden and Ignite Sweden, where we participated in market analyzes and lectures from companies that have established themselves in Brazil, exchange of experiences were the focus. Day2: Study visit to FIESC to understand trade and export regulations and ACATE, where we learned about their support for business establishment. Day3: Pre-booked matchmaking meetings with Brazilian actors within Life Science, creating direct contact for potential collaborations.
