Important results from the project

The purpose and goal of the preliminary study was to investigate whether LLM-based tools such as StingRai can assist start-up companies in shortening time to market, complementing teams lacking critical competencies and improving decision-making and strategy formulation, as well as indicate whether AI-based tools of this kind has potential to be incorporated as part of the service offering of incubators and accelerators. Of six testing companies, their survey responses are very promotive. Surveys with coaches show that the AI tools should become an integrated part of incubators.

Expected long term effects

The tool StingRai has proven to contribute to both faster and higher quality business development. Empirical tests indicate that the tool significantly can reduce time to market or need for external resources. Activities that would have taken weeks without the tool have been completed in minutes up to an hour. During the preliminary study, the hot questions surrounding AI in general, such as safety and ethics, have also been lively discussed. A white paper is intended to be published. In the long term, StingRai is expected to increase the number of successful Swedish export companies.

Approach and implementation

The project has been carried out in four work packages: 1) Adaptation of closed beta version of StingRai, 2) Design of tests, 3) Implementation of tests with 6 companies, 4) Evaluation and recommendations. The arrangement has worked well to achieve the project´s objective. The adaptation of the tool enabled relevant testing, the broad sample group provided insights into potential of the tool in different phases and industries, and the evaluation led to well-founded conclusions and recommendations. The cooperation between the parties has worked well.
