Important results from the project

The project aimed to verify customer groups and business model and develop the prototype based on the feedback received from the customer validation that is now ongoing. In addition, the project aims to produce an instruction manual and obtain a CE marking for the 20 TKI units planned to be produced within the framework of the project, as well as to develop instruction manuals and a business model. The project did not succeed with all objective as we encountered problems in the process of CE marking and wide product development is required. Other objective are met.

Expected long term effects

In the process of testing TKI for CE marking, two aspects were discovered that needed to be addressed. In-depth customer validation has taken place, business model and revenue model have been developed and collaboration with potential resellers has begun. The market potential has been mapped, an IP strategy has been developed and manuals for TKi have been produced. The mini-series of TKI that is planned to be produced has not been achieved as customers have given feedback that they are first interested in collaboration provided that our product is CE-marked.

Approach and implementation

The project has run well based on the conditions, however, problems in connection with testing prior to CE marking were noted. All components used in our product have a CE mark, but the composition and area of use have contributed to product development being hampered. Other activities have proceeded according to expectations and objective, a potential partner has been linked up and a great deal of interest has been shown from the market. Both from insurance companies and end consumers, orders have been received provided that the product is tested and CE marked.
