Purpose and goal

The project aims to explore the needs and eligibility requirements of target groups in creating semi-permanent housing concepts like Tiny Villages. It seeks to remove obstacles to social innovation and improve understanding of what works to build an attractive, equitable society. The goal is to provide a foundation for implementation and further research on the social aspects of new, semi-permanent residential areas.

Expected effects and result

The expected results include a foundation for content and questions for future implementation and research projects, as well as the development of a network of key stakeholders and experts who could form a reference or steering group. The project aims to enhance the social sustainability and attractiveness of Tiny Villages, with the goal of informing their future construction. Ultimately, the results should contribute to supporting sustainable regional development through innovative housing.

Planned approach and implementation

The project involves 3 parties and is divided into 5 APs, some of which are implemented jointly and others by a single party. 1 Project management and communication -2025.06.30 2 Current situation analysis and benchmarking -2025.03.31 3 Market analysis -2025.06.15 4 Study of social aspects -2025.06.15 5 Attractiveness - the mining industry -2025.06.15 The project group will have regular joint meetings for progress, communication and planning throughout the project period.
