Purpose and goal

The project develops the Värmeverket Model for socially sustainable property development. Using Bredäng as a pilot, it tests how existing buildings can become hubs for culture, community and inclusion instead of demolition. The goal is a method that strengthens social sustainability and can be scaled nationally.

Expected effects and result

The project aims to deliver a documented method for social property development – the Värmeverket Model – tested in Bredäng. Impacts include greater inclusion, circular building solutions and stronger collaboration between property owners, civil society and researchers.

Planned approach and implementation

The project runs in three phases: mapping and local dialogue, development and testing of the Värmeverket Model, and evaluation and dissemination. The partners collaborate in a steering group with Verket Fastigheter as coordinator.

The project description has been provided by the project members themselves and the text has not been looked at by our editors.
