Important results from the project
Smakstaden was developed into the digital platform https://vaerningsverket.se/ with a focus on raising awareness about how we can work together towards a more sustainable, inclusive and healthy future. Through iterative workshops, we moved towards a future that focuses on community development. The project focused on educating, inspiration and co-learning together through future thinking in the form of workshops with approximately 30 actors within the food system.
Expected long term effects
The project is expected to have long-term effects by strengthening the participants´ ability to work towards innovative solutions within the food system. The future workshops have created a platform to challenge traditional ways of thinking and inspire new perspectives. The broad network and strong digital presence will continue to engage a wide audience and stimulate discussions. We have created a platform for new projects and with interested individuals and organizations.
Approach and implementation
The process has been co-creative. The question and prototype have been gradually adjusted and refined through workshops and design sprints. The entire approach embraced the unexpected and unplanned Phases: F1: Define roles and process. F2: Prepare and conduct workshops F3: Prepare and conduct design sprint with students at HDK. F4: With the process and signals as input, develop concepts and proposals for design. F5: Produce prototype. F6: Test prototype at SLU in Alnarp and in Malmö.
