Important results from the project
** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** The project must analyze, develop structures and processes for how different systems can work together with regard to access, validation, crediting, degree order, and whether they can be combined in any part. The project must also develop good examples of how the work with transitions between education systems can be designed and whether and what changes are required in the respective regulations. The aim of the project is to develop standardized and systemic processes for; crediting, systemic transparency, and validation of real competence.
Expected long term effects
** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** The project has carried out three minor studies, a compilation of universities´ validation processes, interviews with 20 key people, and an international benchmarking. In addition, seminars for project partners and a conference were organized. This has reinforced the perception that a national systemic validation and decision support system needs to be realized. All studies point in the same direction; increased transparency and a national equivalent process. Active collaboration and trust between different education systems are central.
Approach and implementation
** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** The project has worked with four working packages, a compilation of universities´ validation processes, interviews, an international benchmarking, and initiated a collaboration with UHR to develop a digital infrastructure for validation and decision processes. The project partners have carried out data collection and analysis within the working packages, which resulted in a work report. The analysis shows the importance of working with nationally equivalent content, assessment of knowledge, and creating trust between the education systems.
