Important results from the project
The delegation´s expectations were as follows: -Learn more about the investments being made in quantum technology in Singapore -Learn more about the ecosystem and which actors do what. Simply a mapping. -Learn more about how SCALINQ can benefit from Singapore´s ecosystem -Learn more about how Singapore can benefit from Swedish investments and technologies -Possibly establish collaborations between SCALINQ and Singaporean actors. I believe all points have been met successfully!
Expected long term effects
As part of the delegation, we at SCALINQ were able to learn a lot about how other companies and research groups are tackling certain technological challenges. This has helped us collect data for future technological development. We have also initiated collaborations with research groups from Singapore in aim to validate and develop new solutions for quantum computers.
Approach and implementation
Two project managers, one from QSIP and another from NQO, initiated the delegation and worked together to ensure a successful and rewarding visit for all actors. The delegation consisted of: Swedish start-ups, Swedish government institutions and Swedish industry. With this in mind, the program was designed in such a way that all of us actors got a good insight into Singapore´s investments in quantum technology through various physical visits, lectures and events. Very good arrangement!
