Purpose and goal

This project aims to promote cooperation between Swedish and Singaporean actors to develop and test privacy-enhancing technologies for AI systems, and ensure compliance with regulations such as the AI Regulation and GDPR. Singapore is an important partner due to its significant advances in privacy-enhancing technologies and regulatory frameworks, providing valuable insights and practices that promote robust, interpretable and fair AI solutions that protect data privacy.

Expected effects and result

The project´s expected results and effects are to develop and test privacy-enhancing technologies for AI systems in collaboration with Singapore, in the context of AI Act and GDPR. By exchanging knowledge and methods with Singapore, the project promotes innovation and competitiveness, and contribute to global sustainability goals through responsible and ethical AI. The goal is to create robust, interpretable and fair AI solutions that protect data integrity and enable future commercialisation.

Planned approach and implementation

The project is divided into three activities: Preparatory online meetings between Swedish and Singaporean parties to present capacities and discuss challenges. An extended visit to Singapore for workshops and meetings with academic and regulatory institutions. Joint planning of continued collaboration based on insights from previous activities.
