Important results from the project
Long-term strategies to reduce loneliness, strengthen leadership skills and improve the quality of life for the elderly have been identified through the feasibility study where we mapped the conditions, obstacles and needs for structured collaboration between municipalities, municipal associations and civil society in elderly care. The work resulted in a concrete action plan with identified activities (e.g. digital collaboration app, recurring meeting places and dialogue forums).
Expected long term effects
In the long term, the feasibility study is expected to lead to a structured model for collaboration that strengthens the quality of life for the elderly, reduces loneliness and creates more sustainable welfare systems. Through shared resources, clear mandates and innovative working methods, civil society and municipalities can jointly develop effective and inclusive solutions.
Approach and implementation
The project was implemented as a feasibility study with strategic analysis, needs and stakeholder analysis, and surveys. The results were processed in workshops involving representatives from municipalities and civil society. The work resulted in a concrete action plan with proposals for activities and structures for future collaboration.
